NEET 2019 exam has been postponed as Odisha recovers from the destruction caused by Cyclone Fani.

R. Subrahmanyam, Higher Education Secretary, has confirmed the development, saying that the revised dates will be announced soon.
Candidates should note that only the exam has been cancelled only for the centres in the state of Odisha. The exam will be conducted as usual in centres outside Odisha.
The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) Goa president, Ahraz Mulla had approached the President, Prime Minister and Union HRD ministry yesterday for postponement of NEET 2019 exam.
The exam was earlier scheduled for May 5, over 15.19 lakh candidates were expected to appear to get admissions into undergraduate medical courses.
