Fast & Furious 9 has added a new name to their cast list. Vin Diesel’s son is reportedly going to act as the younger version of his father’s character Dominic Toretto in Fast & Furious 9. The 10-year-old boy Vincent Sinclair is making his acting debut in the upcoming installment.

The scene was filmed back in 2019 when Vincent was nine years old. He takes over from Alex McGee, who previously played a young Dominic Toretto in Fast & Furious 7. According to Variety, the child actor received a daily rate of USD 1,005 in the upcoming installment.

Vin Diesel shares Vincent Sinclair with his longtime model girlfriend Paloma Jimenez. The pair also has daughters Hania Riley and Pauline, together.

Vin Diesel earlier revealed that Dom's (full name Dominic Toretto) family would take an important part in Fast & Furious 9. As the Fast & Furious franchise is running for the last two decades, fans will be more interested to know the origin of the story. It seems Vincent Sinclair would appear in the flashback of the story. But we don’t know how long Vincent Sinclair will appear in the scene.

"We always wanted to know a bit more about the origins. And I think that a franchise has to earn the right to go back in-depth into a back-story, and I hope Fast & Furious has done just that. I feel like the instinct or desire to go into the back-story, almost the origin story, was something compelling for everybody," said Vin Diesel.

There will be a lot of new surprises in the movie. Fans would be excited to see Dom’s childhood. According to a recent report, Fast & Furious 9 will premiere on June 25.

The much-awaited Fast & Furious 9 was expected in summer last year but was delayed several times. The release date was pushed back to April 2, 2021, in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic. Then the release date was changed to May 28, and most recently to June 25 -- due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
