Neil Patrick Harris and Whoopi Goldberg have had an awkward exchange on the show "The View".
The former "How I Met Your Mother" star was discussing his children with the hosts of the talk show when Goldberg suddenly started giggling.
"I'm laughing because I remember you at that age," she explained when they asked about her giggling.
Harris then recalled working with the veteran actor on the 1988 film "Clara's Heart" and revealed an uncomfortable conversation he had with her during the shooting.
"She told me, I was 15, 16 years old, she told me on my last day of shooting that in 10 years' time she was going to have sex with me," he added.
The audience erupted with a mixture of shock and laughter.
Goldberg, 62, who was sitting at the opposite side of the table, then quipped, "I might've!".
"He had many questions as a kid, so I said, 'Listen, wait 10 years, and I'll take you through it.' In those days, you could actually have some fun like that. You can't do that now. People get very upset now," she added.
Harris, however, made it clear that he was not offended by Goldberg's statement.
