Police constable dies by suicide in UP

A 25-year-old police constable posted in this district of Uttar Pradesh died after hanging himself on Wednesday, police said.The constable, posted at the Alapur police station, was having a dispute with his wife due to which he was under depression and committed suicide by hanging self in his rented room here, Superintendent of Police City Amit Kishore Srivastava said.

The constable, posted at the Alapur police station, was having a dispute with his wife due to which he was under depression and committed suicide by hanging self in his rented room here, Superintendent of Police (City) Amit Kishore Srivastava said. Constable Gaurav was a a resident of Muzaffarnagar district, he said. The colleagues of the deceased told the police that he had a verbal spat with his wife on phone, after which he committed suicide, he said.
