Suits Season 8 to have Grimm’s Sasha Roiz, Donna’s love interest revealed

The first part of ‘Suits’ Season 8 went on to hiatus after airing its last episode titled ‘Managing Partner’ on September 19, 2018. Since then, avid fans have been waiting to know when the series will return with its second part.

Recently, the USA Network revealed that the remaining part of ‘Suits’ Season 8 will have its premiere on Wednesday, January 23. The previous episode ended with a cliffhanger showing Donna Paulsen (Sarah Rafferty) orchestrating a plan to make Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) the managing partner of Pearson Specter Litt. Sheila Sazs (Rachael Harris) also got a chance at being promoted to dean of the firm and announced herself pregnant.

A rumor swirled up that Donna would not be successful in her plan. However, a new teaser released by the USA Network confirmed Louis as the firm’s managing partner. It also indicated that these changes in role will get 100 percent focus in the upcoming episode(s).

The short teaser further shows Louis promising Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) that he would not be too overheating in his new role, although he was observed saying it in his popular archetypal way. Will Louis keep his promise? Here’s a small conversation between Louis and Harvey from the teaser below:

You’re a wild stallion and I’m not going to ride you hard,” Louis says to Harvey.

“Louis, I’m really not comfortable where this conversation is going,” Harvey replies.

The teaser for second part of ‘Suits’ Season 8 shows Harvey saying to Donna, “I had a nightmare last night that we made Louis managing partner.”

On the other hand, Louis, Donna and Harvey will continue to tackle top corporate cases with the assistance of Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull) and Alex Williams (Dulé Hill) in the upcoming episodes. The viewers will surely love the new addition in cast, Sasha Roiz playing the role of Donna’s love interest Thomas Kessler. In ‘Suits,’ as a CEO of a furniture design company, he is a client of the firm. Roiz is quite popular for his roles in ‘Grimm’ and ‘Caprica’ television series.
