Korean and global fans of Song Hye-kyo and Park Bo-gum are highly excited seeing them together in the latest drama ‘Encounter’ premiered on November 28.

Two leading South Korean celebs Song Hye-kyo and Park Bo-gum have their highly anticipated return in ‘Encounter’ in which the ‘Descendant of the Sun’ actress plays the role of Cha Soo-hyun and ‘Love in the Moonlight’ actor as Kim Jin-hyuk.

While Cha Soo-hyun is a daughter of a prominent politician and former daughter-in-law of a wealthy family (divorcee who has not lived her own life), Kim Jin-hyuk is an ordinary young person who finds joy in the simplest things.

‘Encounter’ spoilers suggest that both the character will meet and slowly fall in love despite the fact two are from different socio-economic backgrounds. They will somehow come across together in Cuba while on their travels and gradually get into a whirlwind romance.

Song Hye-kyo, who is married to her ‘Descendant of the Sun’ co-star Song Joong-ki, opined that she expected something beyond one’s imagination when she first heard that ‘Encounter’ was going to be directed and written by Park Shin-woo and Yoo Young-ah respectively and both of them would work together.

While talking about the selection of Cuba, Park Bo-gum said that the location ensures the blossoming of romance. According to him, the island nation’s beautiful locations highly harmonized with the writer, Yoo Young-ah’s intention of portraying that ‘obviously something special’ when a new relationship developed.

The next episode of ‘Encounter’ will be aired on December 5.
