Nicole Kidman has officially confirmed that a third season of the hit show 'Big Little Lies' is in development, with the series’ original author Liane Moriarty penning a new book.

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair alongside co-star Reese Witherspoon, Kidman asked fans to be patient as preparations move forward swiftly. “Just you wait! We’re moving fast and furious. And Liane is delivering the book. And we’re in good shape,” she said, emphasizing the importance of not discussing projects prematurely.

The gripping drama, initially envisioned as a limited series, captivated audiences with its portrayal of four women in a privileged Californian town whose lives unravel after a murder. Witherspoon admitted initial doubts about the show's success, but celebrated its acclaim since debuting in 2017, with a second season following in 2019.
