The incident occurred around 12 noon when the man's car suddenly caught fire. Local attempts to rescue him were unsuccessful as he was unable to release his seatbelt.

By the time fire department officials reached the scene, the car was wholly consumed by flames. Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire.
