Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann Announces Bhagat Kabir Dham for Research into Sant Kabir's Legacy

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced the establishment of Bhagat Kabir Dham to conduct extensive research into the life and philosophy of Sant Kabir. Mann emphasized the importance of Kabir’s teachings in promoting unity, peace, and communal harmony, and highlighted government efforts in improving education and health systems.

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann announced on Saturday the establishment of Bhagat Kabir Dham, aimed at conducting extensive research into the life and philosophy of Sant Kabir, a stalwart of the Bhakti movement.

Speaking at a state-level function commemorating the 626th 'parkash utsav' of Sant Kabir, Mann highlighted the influential teachings of the 15th-century mystic poet and underscored their relevance for fostering unity and communal harmony. 'People should follow Bhagat Kabir's footsteps to build a progressive and prosperous society,' he remarked.

Mann also outlined the state government's dedicated efforts to advance education and healthcare. Citing the establishment of Schools of Eminence and improved health systems, he lauded the recent success of government school students in competitive exams and emphasized the ongoing initiatives to provide quality education and training.
