Maharashtra to Honor Social Icons with Memorial in Mangaon

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde announced plans to establish a memorial in Mangaon, Raigad, in honor of Shahu Maharaj and Babasaheb Ambedkar. The announcement was made during a state-level social justice gathering. Shinde praised the contributions of these social icons alongside the legacy of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Speaking at the event, Shinde underscored his government's admiration for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who he praised for creating an inclusive empire, and highlighted the continued efforts of Shahu Maharaj and Babasaheb Ambedkar in integrating various communities.

''A memorial will be constructed at Mangaon to honor Shahu Maharaj and Dr. Ambedkar, who gave us the world's finest Constitution,'' Shinde declared at the conclave organized by former BJP MP Pradeep Ravat's Vivek Vichar Manch.
