Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects Signs Deal for Noida International Film City
Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects has signed a concession agreement with YEIDA for the development of Noida International Film City. The 1,000-acre film city project, costing Rs 1,510 crore, involves both commercial and industrial use. This ambitious project aims to boost the local economy and film industry.
In a significant development for the Indian film industry, prominent filmmaker Boney Kapoor, through his Bayview Projects, signed a concession agreement on Thursday with the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) for the establishment of the Noida International Film City.
Bayview Projects emerged as the top bidder on January 31, committing to an 18 percent revenue share with the Uttar Pradesh government, outbidding three other major contenders. The agreement was signed in the presence of YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh and Additional CEO Shailendra Bhatia at their office in Greater Noida.
The allocated land parcel has been handed over to Bayview Projects to commence the first phase of construction, which spans 1,000 acres in Sector 21 of YEIDA along the Yamuna Expressway. The first phase will see 230 acres developed, integrating both commercial and industrial purposes. The project is a key initiative of the Yogi Adityanath government, estimated at Rs 1,510 crore.
