Known as India's coaching hub, Kota will soon serve as the backdrop for an upcoming Italian film titled 'Bianca' (white).

The director, Stefania Simoni, recently visited Kota to take part in the Chambal International Film Festival, an event organized annually by the city's filmmakers and artists.

Kapil Siddharth, co-writer of the film's script and founder-director of the festival, revealed that he and Simoni decided to shoot in Kota during her previous visit. They have since received the necessary permissions from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

The filming of 'Bianca' is set to begin in September-October, focusing on various locations in Kota. The movie depicts the emotional journey of an Italian teacher who forms a significant bond with students in this iconic educational hub, Siddharth shared.
