Kiren Rijiju Inaugurates 'Lok Samvardhan Parv' to Highlight Ministry Achievements

Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju inaugurated the 'Lok Samvardhan Parv' to showcase the ministry's schemes, programmes, and achievements. During the event, several MoUs were signed with banks and state missions. The Parv features exhibitions of handicrafts, cultural evenings, and workshops on export marketing.

Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju inaugurated the 'Lok Samvardhan Parv' on Thursday, aimed at showcasing the schemes, programmes, and achievements of the ministry.

Rijiju unveiled a credit plan by National Minorities Development & Finance Corporation (NMDFC) to extend over Rs 1,000 crore in credit to more than 2.5 lakh beneficiaries during 2024-25. He also released a coffee table book highlighting the ministry's achievements.

Several MoUs were signed between NMDFC and various banks including Indian Bank, Union Bank of India, and Punjab Gramin Bank, as well as state skill development missions from Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh, and Maharashtra. The event features a poster exhibition of the ministry's schemes, success stories, and workshops on export marketing.
