Mamata Banerjee's Jhargram Visit for International Adivasi Day Celebration

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is expected to visit Jhargram next week to take part in the International Adivasi Day celebrations on August 9. She will also conduct an administrative review meeting and participate in a public distribution programme organized by the state government.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is set to visit Jhargram next week for the celebration of International Adivasi Day on August 9, an official reported on Wednesday.

In addition to her participation in the International Adivasi Day festivities, Banerjee will also hold an administrative review meeting and take part in a state-organized programme aimed at marking the occasion, the official confirmed.

The Chief Minister is expected to arrive in Jhargram on the evening of August 8, staying overnight at the Jhargram Rajbari Tourist Complex before attending the events at Jhargram Stadium the next day.
