Tragic Incident: Boy Spends Four Days with Deceased Mother's Body in Thane

A 14-year-old boy spent four days with his deceased mother's body in their Thane district flat, prompting police intervention after neighbors reported a foul smell. The boy, identified as Allwyn Daniel, informed police his mother, Silvia Daniel, died of sickness. An accidental death report has been filed.

A heart-wrenching incident unfolded in Maharashtra's Thane district as a 14-year-old boy spent four days with his deceased mother's body before it came to light.

The tragic event occurred in a flat at a housing complex in Kalyan area, where neighbors, disturbed by a foul smell, alerted authorities. Upon investigation, the watchman and neighbors discovered the decomposed body of Silvia Daniel (44) after her son, Allwyn Daniel, opened the door.

Police were quickly called to the scene. Allwyn revealed that his mother had died of an illness and there was no suspicion of foul play. Khadakpada police have registered an accidental death report, with no mention of the boy's father in the documentation.
