On the strength of his Olympic performance, Kusale transitions from a travelling ticket examiner to OSD, Sports Cell in Mumbai, according to CR chief public relations officer Swapnil Nila. Kusale, originally from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, joined Central Railway as a Commercial cum Ticket Clerk in 2015. His success, attributed to years of dedication and training, has made him a significant figure in Indian shooting sports and a role model for future athletes, according to a CR release. Indian Railways has long been supportive of sportspersons, offering robust sports infrastructure and practice flexibility. The organization expressed immense pride in Kusale's accomplishment, recognizing the honor it brings to both Indian Railways and the nation. Kusale's achievements include gold medals at the Asian Games in China (2023) and the World Cup in Baku (2022) and New Delhi (2021).
