On the strength of his Olympic performance, Kusale transitions from a travelling ticket examiner to OSD, Sports Cell in Mumbai, according to CR chief public relations officer Swapnil Nila. Kusale, originally from Kolhapur, Maharashtra, joined Central Railway as a Commercial cum Ticket Clerk in 2015. His success, attributed to years of dedication and training, has made him a significant figure in Indian shooting sports and a role model for future athletes, according to a CR release. Indian Railways has long been supportive of sportspersons, offering robust sports infrastructure and practice flexibility.
