Authorities Intensify Search for Missing Gynaecologist after Wayanad Landslide

Authorities have launched an intensive search operation for 33-year-old Dr Swadheen Panda, a gynaecologist, who went missing following a devastating landslide in Wayanad. The doctor was in the area with friends on a vacation.

Akanksha Mohanty, a close friend of Dr Panda, confirmed he was accompanied by three others, including a couple, at the time of the landslide which struck their resort.

Among the group, Priyadarshini survived, but her husband Bishnuprasad tragically lost his life. Sweekruti Mahapatra is in critical condition on a ventilator in a local hospital, and the search for Dr Panda continues amid growing concern.
