Tragic Incident at SGPC Office: Clerk Fatally Attacked by Sewadar

A tragic incident unfolded at the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) office adjoining the Golden Temple complex, where an account clerk named Darbara Singh was attacked by a 'sewadar', Sukhbir Singh, with a sharp-edged weapon.

The incident, reported by officials on Saturday, occurred following an altercation between the two over an unspecified issue. Darbara Singh was immediately taken to a hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries.

SGPC secretary Partap Singh disclosed that the families of both Darbara and Sukhbir were familiar with each other, adding a poignant layer to the shocking event.
