Actor Janhvi Kapoor's latest film, 'Ulajh,' has mesmerized audiences not only for its intriguing storyline but also for Kapoor's remarkable dedication to her role. In a key scene filmed in Bhopal, Kapoor, portraying an IFS officer, ran 1000 meters barefoot through the city's narrow and bustling streets.

In a press note from Ulajh's PR team, Universal Communications, director Sudhanshu Saria elaborated on the challenges faced during the filming of this sequence. 'Our movie was largely filmed in London, but the pivotal climax scene was shot in Bhopal. The night before shooting, the set was destroyed by rain. We had to quickly prep the location again and shoot this critical scene within a limited timeframe. Before shooting, Janhvi and I discussed Suhana's mindset for the scene,' she said.

'As soon as the camera rolled, Janhvi became so engrossed in her role that every step she took was a true reflection of her character, Suhana. By the end of the shoot, although she sustained visible injuries from running barefoot on the rugged road, she was so immersed in her character that she barely noticed the pain. Janhvi effortlessly transitioned from a polished diplomat to a resilient officer defending her country, excelling in every frame,' she added. 'Ulajh,' an espionage thriller produced by Junglee Pictures, also features Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew. The story follows Suhana Bhatia, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, as she undertakes a challenging mission in London. The cast includes Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang, Rajendra Gupta, and Jitendra Joshi. Written by Saria and Parveez Shaikh, the dialogues are by Atika Chauhan. (ANI)
