Sikkim Science Centre Joins State Tourist Itinerary

The Sikkim Science Centre has been added to the state’s official tourist itinerary, aiming to enhance its prominence and provide unique experiences for tourists. The Sikkim Science Centre has officially been added to Sikkim's tourist itinerary, an official announcement revealed.

Sandeep Tambe, Secretary of Sikkim's Department of Science and Technology (DST), stated that the inclusion will boost the centre's visibility and offer tourists a unique scientific experience.

''This inclusion will help expand visitors' knowledge of science and technology. The Centre hosts a range of interactive exhibits and activities suitable for both children and adults,'' Tambe added.

The Centre boasts features like a 3D theatre, planetarium, and innovation hub, all designed to present an engaging educational experience. Tourists will be encouraged to explore and participate in the centre’s offerings.

Tambe also emphasized that this initiative will benefit the local community and students by highlighting the importance of science and technology and providing new learning opportunities.
