The Latur Police in Maharashtra have launched an innovative educational tool: a comic book titled 'Inspector Damini'. Designed by Superintendent of Police Somay Munde, this book aims to educate school students and their parents about various crimes, helplines, and laws relevant to their safety.

'Inspector Damini' includes 14 illustrative stories that cover critical topics such as the POCSO Act, emergency Dial 112, and the MERS 112 app. It addresses a range of issues from harassment and child marriage to online fraud and ragging, providing students with vital legal knowledge.

In addition, the book offers guidance on dealing with road accidents, child labor, traffic rules, cybercrime, and safe social media usage. It highlights essential helplines and child-related laws, ensuring that the material is engaging and informative for young readers.
