Filmmaker and choreographer Farah Khan recently took to social media to remember her late mother, Menaka Irani, who passed away on July 26 at the age of 79. Farah described her mother as a unique and humorous person, more so than her and her brother, Sajid Khan, combined. She praised Irani's resilience despite life's hardships and noted that she held no bitterness towards anyone.
Menaka Irani was the sister of famous child actors Daisy and Honey Irani and had a brief stint in the 1970 film 'Bachpan.' Farah shared that her mother had undergone several surgeries and celebrated her 79th birthday just days before her death. Alongside her heartfelt post, Farah shared photos, including a black-and-white picture of a young Irani.
Expressing her gratitude, Farah thanked the medical staff for providing extra days with her mother and highlighted the outpouring of love and condolences from friends, family, and colleagues. Farah concluded her post by stating she would return to work, something that always made her mother proud, choosing to celebrate Irani's life daily rather than mourn her passing.
