Srikanth Bolla, a visually-impaired industrialist and the founder of Bollant Industries, has urged the government for more policy interventions to ensure equality in education and opportunities for the physically challenged.
Recently highlighted by his Hindi biopic 'Srikanth', Bolla acknowledged the government's contributions to the welfare of the visually impaired. Despite having ambitions to become India's first visually-challenged president, Bolla stated he has no immediate plans to enter politics but would consider it if opportunities arise.
Speaking at the 'Made in JIS Celeb Edition 2024' celebration, Bolla emphasized the need for empowering and inclusive development. He encouraged students to overcome hardships and pursue their goals. Bolla, an MIT alumnus, co-founded Bollant Industries, which employs many physically challenged individuals and manufactures eco-friendly packaging solutions.
