Ukraine's Response to Russia's Escalation

Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhailo Podolyak asserted on Thursday that Russia’s aggression is the driving force behind any recent escalations, including incidents in Russia’s Kursk and Belgorod regions.

"The root cause of any escalation, shelling, military actions, forced evacuations, and destruction of normal life forms, including within Russia’s own territories like Kursk and Belgorod regions, is solely Russia’s unequivocal aggression," Podolyak stated on the social platform X in English.

Podolyak's comments come amid increasing tensions and military activities that have affected both sides of the conflict.
