Gujarat, being India's largest castor seed producer, stands to benefit significantly from this project. The Central Silk Board, Union Ministry of Textiles, in collaboration with Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University (SDAU) and Kalyan Foundation, launched the project. An MoU was signed in the presence of key officials, including Union Minister of State for Textiles Pabitra Margherita and Secretary of the Ministry of Textiles Rachna Shah.
