Arshad Nadeem Honored for Historic Olympic Gold Medal Win

Olympic javelin throw champion Arshad Nadeem was awarded 10 million rupees and a new car by the Punjab government for winning gold in the Paris Games. Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz visited Nadeem's village to present the awards. Nadeem's record-breaking throw of 92.97m secured Pakistan's first Olympic gold in 40 years.

Olympic javelin throw champion Arshad Nadeem received cash awards of 10 million rupees and a brand new car from the Punjab government, celebrating his gold medal victory at the recent Paris Games.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz presented the prizes during her visit to Nadeem's village in Mian Chunnu, where she met the athlete's family and praised his achievements.

Nadeem's historic 92.97m throw in the men's javelin final not only won him the gold but also marked Pakistan's first Olympic gold medal in 40 years. His coach, Salman Iqbal Butt, also received a cheque of 50 lakh rupees.
