Superstar Salman Khan has leveled allegations against veteran actor Manoj Kumar, claiming he usurped the writing credit for the 1981 film 'Kranti' from the renowned screenwriting duo Salim-Javed.

During the trailer launch of Prime Video's docuseries 'Angry Young Men,' which highlights the career of Salim-Javed, Khan stated that Kumar, who also directed and produced 'Kranti,' took full writing credit for the film.

Khan further asserted that Kumar himself admitted to writing it, characterizing the screenplay as akin to 'chana jor garam,' an Indian snack. According to the film's poster, Salim-Javed were credited for the story and screenplay, while the dialogue credits went to Kumar.
