Speaking at the trailer launch of her directorial 'Emergency', in which she portrays Indira Gandhi, Ranaut also lamented not directing the late Irrfan Khan, her favorite actor.

Actor-filmmaker Kangana Ranaut has revealed her aspiration to bring together Bollywood's three legendary Khans – Shah Rukh, Salman, and Aamir – in a single film. She aims to both direct and produce this ambitious project, showcasing their talents and significant impact on society.
Ranaut's remarks came during the trailer launch of her upcoming directorial venture, 'Emergency', where she also plays former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film is scheduled for release on September 6.
The actor also expressed regret over missing the opportunity to direct her late 'Knock Out' co-star Irrfan Khan, whom she described as one of her favorite actors. Ranaut acknowledged the Khans' contributions to the industry and promised to explore their artistic sides in future projects.
