Shahid Kapoor, who portrayed dual roles in Vishal Bhardwaj's critically-acclaimed drama 'Kaminey,' has expressed his enthusiasm for a sequel as the film marks its 15th anniversary.
Released on August 14, 2009, 'Kaminey' is a standout in Kapoor's career and initiated his collaboration with Bhardwaj, leading to subsequent projects such as 'Haider' (2014) and 'Rangoon' (2017).
Kapoor reminisced about the film, highlighting its unique content and his memorable experiences, and expressed gratitude towards Bhardwaj for the opportunity to play diverse roles. In the underworld-themed film, Kapoor portrayed estranged twins with contrasting personalities. The film also features notable actors such as Priyanka Chopra and Amol Gupte, with music by Bhardwaj and lyrics by Gulzar.
