After the arrest of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, his wife Sunita stepped into the political limelight, according to senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia. Sisodia emphasized the 'awesome' role she played in maintaining the party’s fighting spirit.

Sunita Kejriwal acted as a bridge between her imprisoned husband and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), leading campaigns in Delhi, Gujarat, and Haryana for upcoming elections. Despite media speculations, Sisodia clarified that she had no intentions to assume the role of chief minister.

Her eloquent public addresses and emotional appeal have garnered significant support for the party. However, Sisodia suggested that her political involvement might reduce once Arvind Kejriwal is released from Tihar Jail. For now, she remains active in campaigning, particularly for the forthcoming assembly polls in Haryana and Delhi.
