A tragic incident occurred on Thursday in Jaipur's Brahmapuri area, where a 20-year-old man drowned in a pond, police reported.
Brahmapuri SHO Ishwar Chandra Pareek confirmed that Shahid, a resident of Nahri Ka Nanka, had gone to bathe with friends in Hathni Kund pond but unfortunately lost his life.
A swift response by police and civil defence teams led to a 30-minute operation to recover Shahid's body from the water.
