NDMC Unveils Comprehensive 11-Point Plan for Sustainable Development

The New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) Chairman Naresh Kumar has introduced an ambitious 11-point action plan aimed at establishing the NDMC as a leading example in achieving sustainable development goals. This announcement came during the 78th Independence Day celebrations at the NDMC headquarters, Palika Kendra, in Central Delhi.
Kumar highlighted various targets within the action plan, which include making NDMC the cleanest and greenest city, advancing digital services through e-mobile, enhancing cultural aspects, and improving civic infrastructure. Other goals focus on elevating education and health services, promoting holistic social welfare, and ensuring world-class sports facilities.
The NDMC took further steps to celebrate the Independence Day event, displaying 16,000 national flags on electric poles throughout the area and installing 24 floral boards to congratulate citizens on this special occasion.
