A Navi Mumbai man has lodged a complaint against Vivek Ravi Raman, the organiser of the Festivina music festival, for allegedly defrauding him of Rs 63.50 lakh, a police official stated on Thursday.

The FIR was filed under sections of the Indian Penal Code pertaining to cheating and criminal breach of trust. According to the complaint, the victim handed over the sum between March 21 and April 5 last year, expecting to receive a 35 percent profit return on a music concert planned in Mumbai's BKC area.

However, the promised profits never materialized. While the complaint has been registered, no arrests have been made, and an investigation is still ongoing, the Nerul police official confirmed.
