A state Rajyotsava award winner, Rajaram dedicated over six decades to the publication house, which has been pivotal in fostering book culture. Established in 1960, Navakarnataka Publications has published over 6,000 titles, with a majority being in Kannada and around 400 in English.
Under Rajaram's leadership, the company not only focused on printed editions but also embraced e-books and audiobooks, earning numerous prestigious awards. He leaves behind a son and daughter, according to family sources.
