Minister Dara Singh Chauhan Celebrates Raksha Bandhan in Jail

Uttar Pradesh's Minister for Prisons Dara Singh Chauhan celebrated Raksha Bandhan by visiting Luxor Jail in Gautam Buddha Nagar. Women inmates tied rakhis to him and he distributed gifts. Additionally, 3,200 women visited the jail, and 52 women inmates tied rakhi to male prisoners. The minister also inspected the jail's control room.

Uttar Pradesh Minister for Prisons Dara Singh Chauhan celebrated Raksha Bandhan in an unconventional setting this Monday, visiting Luxor Jail in Gautam Buddha Nagar.

According to officials, women inmates, whose families couldn't visit, tied rakhis to Chauhan, who reciprocated with Rs 100 each and sweets.

Chauhan informed reporters that over 3,200 women visited the jail to tie rakhi to their brothers, while 52 women prisoners celebrated the festival with 52 male inmates. The minister also took the opportunity to inspect the jail's control room.
