Heroic River Rescue in Madhya Pradesh

In a daring rescue operation, eleven picnickers trapped in the swollen Ghoda Pachad river in Madhya Pradesh's Guna district were rescued on Sunday by the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF).

The group, all residents of Bapcha Lahariya village, were stranded on a stone mound in Murail village after the river's water level rose suddenly. Sub Divisional Officer of Police (SDOP) Divya Rajawat reported the incident and coordinated the rescue efforts.

A swift and efficient response by the SDRF, who arrived at the scene along with senior officials, ensured the picnickers were brought to safety within two hours, avoiding any casualties.
