India's Preethi Pal secured a bronze medal in the women's 200m T35 category at the Paris Paralympics, achieving a personal best time of 30.01 seconds on Sunday.

The medal is the 23-year-old athlete's second podium finish at the Games, making it India's second para-athletics medal.

The T35 classification is designated for athletes with coordination impairments such as hypertonia, ataxia, and athetosis. On Friday, Pal clinched another bronze in the women's T35 100m event with a personal best time of 14.21 seconds. All previous athletics medals for India since the 1984 Paralympics have come from field events.
