Irish actor Eve Hewson is in early negotiations to star in renowned director Steven Spielberg's next, yet-to-be-titled film.
This project marks a reunion for Hewson and Spielberg, who previously worked together on the 2015 war thriller 'Bridge of Spies.' According to The Hollywood Reporter, the new event film will be based on a screenplay written by David Koepp, famous for his work on the 'Jurassic Park' series and 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.'
Universal Pictures has slated the movie for a May 15, 2026 release date, with production handled by Macosko Krieger, known for 'The Fabelmans' and 'West Side Story.' Hewson recently starred in 'The Perfect Couple,' which began streaming on Netflix from September 5 and features stars like Nicole Kidman, Ishaan Khattar, and Meghann Fahy.
