Dr. MGR-Janaki College Celebrates Onam with Grandeur

Dr. MGR-Janaki College of Arts and Science for Women hosted a festive Onam event, involving over 4,250 students in traditional celebrations including dances and an Onam Sadya. The event showcased Kerala’s rich culture and heritage, underscoring the college's commitment to celebrating diverse festivals.

Dr. MGR-Janaki College of Arts and Science for Women celebrated Onam in grand style on September 13, drawing participation from more than 4,250 students.

The festivities featured a series of traditional dances including Chanda Melam, kai kotti kali, the iconic Mohini Aatam, Puli Kali, and Kerala nadanam, organized by the M.A. Natya Department and the Entrepreneurial Cell.

A lavish Onam Sadya was set up, complemented by a stunning boat setup. The event highlighted Kerala's rich cultural heritage and reinforced the college's tradition of celebrating various cultural festivals.
