Leopard Intrudes Uttar Pradesh School
A leopard infiltrated a government school in Haldaur, Uttar Pradesh, causing staff to lock themselves in a room. The school was initially closed due to rain. After hearing the leopard roar, they sought shelter. Villagers managed to scare the leopard back into the jungle. Safety measures will be enforced.

A leopard entered the premises of a government school in the Haldaur area of this Uttar Pradesh district, causing a scare and forcing the staff to lock themselves in a room.
Issopur Primary School headteacher Seema Rajput stated that the school had been closed on Friday due to rain. After the teachers arrived, they heard the distinctive roar of the leopard and hastily locked themselves in a room for safety.
According to Rajput, the leopard went as far as clawing at the door, heightening the tension. The school's cook alerted local villagers, who arrived promptly and created a commotion, leading the leopard to retreat back into the jungle.
Yogendra Kumar, the Basic Education Officer, assured that concrete measures would be undertaken for the safety of students and staff in collaboration with the forest department.
