A tragic incident occurred in a village, resulting in the death of Gyan Chand, a cook, due to a cooker explosion. The 52-year-old resident of Parnoh village was working in a house in Bhadthu village when the explosion happened, causing severe injuries to his chest, throat, and face.

Chand was quickly rushed to Civil Hospital Bhoranj by locals, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The police took his body for a post-mortem examination to understand the exact cause of death.

Nirmal Singh, the in-charge of the local police station, confirmed that an investigation is currently underway to determine the circumstances leading up to the explosion.
