US-based heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold, also known as A7X, is set to make its long-awaited debut in India. The band will headline the second edition of Bengaluru's Bandland concert, scheduled for November 23-24 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).

A Reddit thread titled 'A7x finally coming to India!!!' reveals that excited fans are eagerly plotting and planning their attendance for the long-anticipated event.

Lead vocalist Matthew Charles Sanders, popularly known as M Shadows, expressed the band's excitement about performing in India. 'We could see on Spotify that there's a lot of people listening to A7X from India. So, we told our booking agent to look into India,' M Shadows told PTI during a Zoom call.

One of the success stories in the heavy metal music scene, A7X has stayed true to its core belief of musical evolution since its formation in 1999. 'We realized that the most important thing is the musical output,' M Shadows shared. Their latest album, 'Life Is But A Dream,' has polarized fans with its innovative sound.

The band aims to include a mix of popular tracks and songs from their new album in their setlist for Indian fans. 'The setlist in India will include 'Little Piece Of Heaven,' said M Shadows, acknowledging its popularity in India according to Spotify statistics.

Tickets for the festival, organized by BookMyShow, are priced from Rs 3,999 onwards.
