Heroic Lifeguards Save Three Lives in Goa

Three individuals, including a 25-year-old man who attempted suicide and two others caught in a rip current, were rescued by lifesavers in Goa. The state-appointed lifesaving agency, Drishti Marine, carried out the heroic acts across different incidents, ensuring the safety of the victims.

A local resident alerted lifesavers about the man trying to jump into the Galgibagh river in South Goa. Despite the man having already jumped, lifesavers successfully saved him from the water, according to Drishti Marine.

On the same day, two other individuals—a 40-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman—were caught in a rip current off Mandrem beach. Lifesavers promptly responded, entering the waters with rescue equipment and ensuring the safety of both individuals.
