The initiative, launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2014 on Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary, emphasizes cleanliness.
Saif and Kareena conveyed their message through a joint video on Instagram. Kareena emphasized her role as a mother wanting a clean environment for her children, while Saif highlighted the importance of teaching kids about cleanliness. He also praised PM Modi's leadership in making Swachh Bharat a national movement.
The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting shared Alia Bhatt's message, where she hailed the campaign as crucial for achieving a clean and self-reliant India. Other celebrities like National Award-winning actor-director R Madhavan, Manushi Chhillar, Tisca Chopra, and Shankar Mahadevan also expressed their appreciation for the initiative's impact.
