Controversy Erupts at Mahakaleshwar Temple Over VIP Entry

Madhya Pradesh's Mahakaleshwar temple faced controversy when Maharashtra CM's son Shrikant Shinde entered the sanctum sanctorum, violating rules. A significant controversy has arisen at the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, following the unauthorized entry of Shrikant Shinde, son of Maharashtra's Chief Minister, into the temple's sanctum sanctorum.

Despite existing rules prohibiting such entries, Shinde was allowed access, leading the opposition Congress to criticize the BJP-led state government. In response, temple administrator Ganesh Dhakad has removed Vinod Chouksey from his position as in-charge of 'darshan' arrangements due to alleged negligence.

Furthermore, three security personnel have been issued show-cause notices, and stringent instructions have been laid down to ensure that similar breaches do not occur in the future.
