The Odisha government, in collaboration with the Ministry of External Affairs, will host the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas in Bhubaneswar from January 8 to 10 next year. This significant event was approved by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.

Key figures such as President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are slated to attend, with the Prime Minister expected to launch the Pravasi Bharatiya Teerth Express amid the festivities.

Over 5,000 diaspora members are expected to join, celebrating the enduring link between India and its overseas community. The event will highlight Odisha's cultural and industrial offerings as part of a broader engagement with participants.
