Juventus Hack Stuns Fans with Fake Arda Guler Announcement
Juventus faced an unexpected breach on their social media, leading to a fake announcement of Real Madrid's Arda Guler joining the Italian club. The false news shocked fans, prompting Juventus to clarify that the post was a result of a hack and not true.
Juventus Football Club found itself at the center of a social media storm on Monday after one of its accounts was compromised. Fans were bewildered by a fabricated announcement erroneously declaring Real Madrid's young sensation Arda Guler as a new signing for the club.
The misleading post on Juventus' English account raised eyebrows, showing an image of Guler at an airport, alongside a message welcoming him to the club. It claimed, 'The rising star of football is now part of the Juventus family.'
Addressing the confusion and frustration among supporters, Juventus quickly issued a statement on their Italian account, confirming the hack. They assured followers that the Turkish international would not be joining the team anytime soon.
