Ayodhya's saint community expressed immense joy during the Deepotsav event on Wednesday, as it marks the celebration of Lord Ram's return to the temple. This year's event is especially significant following the enthronement of Ramlalla earlier in the year, igniting enthusiasm among both saints and devotees.
Described as a unique and momentous occasion, the celebration is viewed as a realization of a 500-year dream. Mahant Bindu Gadyacharya Swami Devendra Prasadacharya highlighted the importance of Deepawali and Deepotsav in Sanatan Dharma, emphasizing the celebration as a profound expression of faith and devotion towards Lord Ram.
The event is seen as a reflection of Ayodhya's ancient glory akin to Treta Yuga, attributed to the dedicated efforts of the Yogi Adityanath government. Mahant Brijmohan Das Maharaj and others noted that the pride in Ramlalla's presence is shared widely, with the entire community united in reverence. The Uttar Pradesh government aims to surpass its previous Guinness record by lighting 25 lakh diyas at the Saryu river.
