Filmmaker Faces Charges for Morphing Images of AP Leaders

A legal case has been initiated against filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma following accusations of posting morphed images of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan on social media platforms.
Prakasam district superintendent of police, AR Damodar, disclosed that Varma was charged with altering photographs of the political figures and their families, subsequently sharing these edited images online.
The charges were based on a complaint filed by a citizen, Ramalingam, who reported Varma's misdemeanors on Sunday night, claiming the posts were derogatory and potentially damaging to the reputations of the state leaders and their families.
