Controversy Erupts Over YouTube Show Comments

Mumbai Police have been investigating controversial comments made by YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia on the show "India's Got Latent," with statements recorded from influencer Apoorva Mukhija and others. Allahbadia is facing backlash over his remarks, which have sparked debates about free speech and appropriateness.

A First Information Report was filed by Maharashtra Cyber Department after Nilotpal Mrinal Pandey raised concerns over offensive language used on the show. Pandey, a member of the BJP's Uttar Bhartiya Morcha and a disabled individual himself, insists action be taken against the show’s participants.

Despite Ranveer Allahbadia's video apology for what he called a "lapse in judgement," the controversy persists. The National Commission for Women has summoned Allahbadia, other participants, and producers of the show to appear in Delhi. Calls for regulation of social media content have reached Parliament.
